Update

A bit of a late update but forgot all about this blog. I wanted this blog to be like, a regular update of both my kitten's lives and Maddie's too.

Well, here at the updates:

Maddie has disappeared after having her operation. I haven't seen her in a long time so I'm not too sure what's happened to her although I hope she is safe.


Paddy was badly injured so he has had his leg amputated as well as being neutered. He's still incredibly dense, for example he will still run around in circles licking his stump and he is at the moment asleep on my feet.





Max - Max died yesterday. He was hit by a car by my house and fortunately my dad said he would not have felt the impact (I hope this is true) and it's incredibly sad. He was a beautiful cat and I really miss him :(




My other cat, Charlie, has also likely died too. He hasn't come home for a few weeks, and he normally does so my dad is assuming he has taken himself off to go to sleep.

So, as you can see - cat's really do have 9 lives and I only have half a cat left.
Update in another year? yes.

Max and Paddy

Okay, so the kittens are now approx. 8 or 9 weeks old, and they're both boys!
This means we get to keep them both, and after many different name changes and observations of their behaviour, we've decided (finally) to call them Max and Paddy :)

They're very naughty now with a lot of energy. The sort of energy which results in them running around in circles over and over again. Seriously, they run in and out all of the rooms just chasing each other. It's funny to watch but it's a bit like, "GO TO SLEEP!" haha

Maddie, their mother, will be having her operation on Friday and will return home with a "lampshade" on her head. I can't wait to take pictures of that *haha*

We think that Max has Persian in him as he is reeeeally fluffy and has blue eyes, but he's not deaf or blind. When he was born he had huge amounts of gunk coming out of his eyes all the time so we had to wipe them constantly, and he is also really loving and sweet-natured, more so than the average cat and these are all traits of Persian cats or Himilayan cats, as he is grey and beige instead of just one colour. He is beautiful, and has the cute factor down to the T.

1 Week Old

The kittens are now one week old, and they're already getting bigger. I'm thinking of changing Freddie's name to Max though as Freddie doesn't suit him/her.

If it's a girl, Maxine/Maxie and if it's a boy just Max. Ava's name suits him or her, and I think its a good name so not changing it :)

I've taken tons and tons of photographs of them, and when I've got a good collection from now until they're at that fluffy cute stage, I'll send them off to be printed properly.

If they're both boys, I can keep both of them but if one of them is a girl, then they're going to a lovely new home with Claire :) I'll miss them but I know they'll be ok :)


I'm having a half hour break from revision seeing as I've been revising since half 9 this morning :( bad times!

Love them both, and I can't wait for them to become fluffy balls of mischief, though I'm sure my room will suffer!! :P

Quiet Kittens

Yes!! They're quiet!

The kittens, for the first night since they've been born, have SHUT UP and it looks like I can get a decent night's worth of sleep :D

I'll be uploading more photos of them soon, but not much has changed.
They're all doing well though, and Maddie is getting more time to herself which means more cuddles for me
